Recalls on Quad 4 Head Gaskets?

:confused: I was informed by a local mechanic whom use to work for a GM dealer, that in 1996, GM had a recall on the Quad 4 Head Gaskets.
I have contacted the local GM dealer, but they have as of this time to contact me with any info to if the recall is true or false.

Has anyone else heard of this? And can give me info on it if it is true.

I worked for GM right before that year and dont remember hear/seeing anything about them. Its been so long you couldnt collect on any sort of recall-refund. And if thier were any issues they would have updated them by now.

I would guess the head gaskets on you 93' GA are not the original anyways.
