Im sorry guys but it just really annoyes me how some of you call others ricers, cause they do things to there cars that they like or that appeal to them. Everything i do to my car i do cause i like the look or i enjoy it and i think its so stupid to call people ricers, thats the gayest thing ive ever heard, yeah ill agree some people do go way to far with gay things on there car. And those people we called morons, I would never make my car a certain way just so its accecpted by others if you dont like my choice of style then :flipa: big time

i have always been a firm believer in do what makes yourself happy. the owner of the car is the only person who has to daily drive the car.

people just get their feelings hurt way too damn easy with all the varations of the word rice. if words hurt you that badly then you should NOT be on the internet and SHOULD be placed in with bubble boy

Take a look at a bowl of rice, what do you see, a bunch of small little things right? Now think about a stereotypical (is that even a word?) "ricer" with his bunch of useless stickers, making the connection? smal litle white thngs, small little useless things on the car?

Either it's that or people in America hate the rice as a food, personally .. I love it, the FOOD, not the car term ;)

LOL! Lets start a new trend and see how far it goes. Lets call anything people would call "Rice" Sushi instead. This way at least we wont hear rice for awhile and eventualy we can get it down to "Thats japanies".

second...i try my damn hardest not to street race. it's not safe period.

third...if i do get into it on the street 9 times out of 10 i just look over at them, laugh, and then do something like spin the tires. that generally scares them away. but if they persist and follow me down the street i make a quick decision. usually the decision is...it isn't worth it. but if it's say a del sol with a z6....or anything d series....then i will most likely half ass race them. hold all my gears through 3rd and let up into 4th. chances are my car i pulled on them by holding gears longer and they are done looking stupid by 4th and they just disappear into traffic. but that hardly happens anymore because i'm not trying to get caught up in the street racing scene.

the term rice got blown all out of proportion by people not using the term correctly.

it used to mean stating something that wasnt true, like having a konig sticker on your fenders with stock rims? WTF was that.

whoever said that white honda civic was rice is an idiot, i see nothing wrong with it from that picture, now if it has Type R plastered on the trunk, then its rice, you get it now?

Ami, I fully agree with u on that, if it was me i woulda done the same thing. i got a funny story too kinda like urs, we were on the way 2 import fest and we were on the highway (3 lanes one way), we see a 5th gen civic and a tiburon flying up behind us, the tiburon gets stopped behind a transport in the slow lane and the 5th gen slows beside us, (my bro was driving and i was in the back, and we had 2 other ppl in the car) my bro hits the horn to get the attention of the other guy and we both take off. funny thing is, we were driving an 89 Chrysler Lebaron GTS bone stock (my dads car lol) and we kept pulling on the 5th gen amazingly, dont ask how but every so often we'd pull away then hafta stop cuz of traffic, it was pretty fun tho and we stopped before we got into an accident.

oh yea, that white civic... that looks good even tho it appears 2 b stock!

Let everyone else do whatever they want to their car. It is THEIR car. It isn't yours. You can do whatever you want to yours. Everyone has their own opinion of what they think looks good so just worry about your own car unless someone asks for your opinion.

For the record I would just like to say where we did it was relativley safe, heald is out in the cuts be an industrial complex, once I get my new camera I will be sure to take some pics of the area so you guys can see just how open it is. We didnt plan the shit out either, just happened to both be at a red light at the same time. :cool:
