using two video cards

i watch alot of movies on tv by using the output on my video card. but to do so, i have to change my desktop area and resolution to 800x600. i was wondering is it possible to have two videocards enabled at the same time? so i could have my monitor hooked up to one(keeping my 1600x1200res.) and i would use just the rca output from the other.

yeah its possible for sure if you use two monitors for example you can use a 15in and a 22 in a dual monitor setup. Well at least this is posible in the setups i tried. I don't know about a Tv and a monitor.

One card that is for sure capable of doing this is the new AIW radeon 9700 but is pricy you might want to check it out.One output for the monitor one for the tv

i looked at it, but i wasnt able to find any info on tv out capabilities. but it does have the option of running my monitor at full resolution and the tv out@800x600 at the same time?

if it can, i would probably get one. i wanted to upgrade my card anyways, and i could get one online for around $250 or a friend works a fry's, so i could get it for cost too.

i'm about 90% sure it can but check on it just to make 100% sure before you buy it.
