Hi,
I wanna buying a new car, I have the choice between a 1992 Buick Park Avenue and a 1998 Lumina LS Police...
I dont know which one is the better one, both cost the same, so I will hear your oppenion, my girlfriend had a Lumina too, and I know it very good, but I cant say anything between the 2 Cars, cos I come from Germy, and here are US Cars rare...
Here 2 Links, I know the text is German but Pictures say more then Textes...

Tough call...same basic engine, both very durable. The Buick is better built, in my opinion, and obviously has more features...but that can mean more to break at this age...and it's older.
If the Lumina is a police model it has the handling tuned suspension, probably, and will handle better, but ride harsher, than the Buick. Depends what you like.
That Lumina is at the same mileage as mine...mine the struts are shot, needed an alternator last year, starting to rust in weird places, etc...but I really like the car and don't intend to give it up yet...
My mother in law sold a 1992 Park Ave just like that one a few years back with a lot of miles (over 170,00 I know) and the guy still drives it, but I don't know what he's done to it since...I know it had a lot of problems with the automatic climate control and was expensive to fix that system...
