01 GA Gt
I have a small leak from the intake manifold gasket. Has anyone ever tried some of the coolant leak fixes in a bottle that you see at the auto parts stores? I am wondering if this might help... I would rather not put that much more money into the car as the fix will be expensive to get done (not at the level to do myself) and it has so many miles on it already.
Thanks

I would not put anything in there to do a temp fix. It will only get worse as time goes on... There is actually class act lawsuit on GM for the Dexcool. Heres the website to read up on... YOU actually pay for the repairs but if you file you can get your money back. http://www.dexcoolsettlement.com/ I work at a GM dealership and we do about 3-4 3.4l intake gaskets a week the dexcool does not get along with the nylon and aluminum. BIG mistake on GM's end. So your best bet is if you have the dealership do it ask them to put the Green coolant back in

I wouldnt recommend using that stuff either!
It most likly wont fix that leak, but will clog your heater core or radiator.
