Turns out it was the control module, started right up. The first one I purchused was a dud, but the second one got it running. I wanted to sell it now i'm thinking of keeping it. The problem is it still needs some money put into it so i'm weary, I don't have the money... Anyways I am still looking to purchuse parts for it. The parts I bought were just to try to get it to start, they are BWD with warranty from advanced auto. I am thinking I should have bought MSD power and they look so cool as well as Delko. Does anyone know the performance of the BWD parts? Good or bad let me know. I have already spent $65 just diagnosing without going to far, I was thinking the worst for a while, clogged cat. converter, or timing, but it was just a quick fix!

Control modules and coils seem to be a weakness with the Fiero 2.8 V6 engines. I always carry a spare of each with me, but have not needed them in my car, but have used them in other's cars. I know some who carry a spare distributor with them for emergencies. The cars are 20-25 years old, most with 100K+ miles or more on them so you can expect several potential problems. They are fun cars.
