There are several links floating around the net pointing to this information. Some of them don't work, some do. However, I would *highly* recommend buying the GM service manuals for your car. They pop up quite often on ebay for reallu good prices.:naughty:

The bottom line last time I dug into the problem was the free online manuals are no longer available. Yes there are alot of links out there that may lead to other links but they will not get to a bottom line, or to the free online manuals as they did before.
Not really sure what the deal was originally other than it worked & required a password that everyone knew. The University that offered the service now has a policy that you have to be a student there (..or something) & the password changed.
In the first post in this thread, the first link:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=890937&highlight=hamilton
was where the info originally came from (or where I found it) but the author of that post deleted it.
The second link: http://redirectingat.com/?id=252X400&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.oplin.org%2Fdatabases%2Fproxy 2%2Fproxy.php%3Fqurl%3Dhttp%253a%252f%252farrc.epn et.com%252fautoasp%252fframerq.asp
still leads to OPLIN (where the manuals were available) but as mentioned, they made changes.

'96: I used a link I found on the net as recently as last month. I found several links, I tested some of them and several of those were Ok, but the information available -in particular the electrical diagrams- was not as good as some of the images other users post here. So, I paid $20 or so for the GM service manuals, and I'm grateful I did. Haynes and Chilton are just not on the same league.

Those links no longer work because they contained copyrighted material. We have been asked to remove them. I have gone through most of the threads that contain that link and removed them, there are some that I missed in my search. At the time I was removing those links, they did work, but I think too many people were gaining access to that site, so they moved the page.
