traditional methods V modern rendering techniques

i work for an automotive publishing company and we are always looking at publishing potential in work from automotive artists out there. i was wondering what people prefer out of more traditional automotive artists such as Tony Gardiner and Rob Ijbema or and how it compares with more with more modern rendering techniques? an example of this i have found is http://www.auto-concept.co.uk/index.php

I have a marker fetish.

So if you call marker traditional and Photoshop/etc modern, I totally prefer traditional. Of course Photoshop renders are nice aswell, but I like the rough look of markers much better.

What I dislike most is what happens in most car magazines: Instead of publishing handdrawn sketches and renderings, they nowadays only show photoshopped illustrations merged from pics of the current model and concepts from car shows.

My 1st love is a graphite #2 and tree pulp(white paper). lol. Ive been turned on to photoshop and illustrator over the past 4yrs and the y hold a close 2nd. its whateva feels good at the time 4me.
