97 Voyager A/C Clutch not engaging

I have spent 30+ hrs messing with this issue, tested all components, reserviced refrigerant and brought the vehicle to the pros. No one has yet corrected the issue. We have found no signal to pull the A/C clutch relay. If pwr is jumped, the system operates great (without control). I am suspecting a bad A/C Control Head (P/N 4677615), is there a way to test prior to spending the required $384.00? This vehicle has only front air.

Not sure how to test the control head prior, but any reason not to try the junkyard first? Also, You can get it for $311 + shipping at chryslerpartsdirect.com to save a couple dollars if you can wait a little longer to get it.

"We have found no signal to pull the A/C clutch relay."
the pcm controls this signal. you might want to check that route before the other. I will try to find a pin in/out diagram for the pcm and post back. i also wouln't run it long jumping it either.

Pin 64 (dark blue w/orange stripe wire) at PCM connector is the ground for the A/C clutch relay coil. Are you getting power to the coil of the relay?
You can check the A/C switch input from the control head at pin 45 (dark green wire) at the PCM connector.

Last one I had that acted this way was the line mounted pressure transducer plug not making good contact- I unplugged it and plugged it back in and presto- the a/c compressor engages. the ECM needs the pressure reading to enable the compressor and fans
