my transmission has just started slipping (just like the other post) I am wonderin where are the input & output speed sensors that you were talking about? Are they hard to change?

Download the 2002 Factory Service manual from the FREE FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL thread in this forum and go section TRANSAXLE 21 page 4 and it will show you where the input and output sensors are located. All you should need it a socket and rachet to change them. You will need to have vehicle on ramps or jacked up and jackstands to support vehicle for safety to get underneath the car.
