Hi, first of all let me say hi and just joined today, been reading on the site for some time now and must say that its helped me more than once when i was in a bind, And thanks goes out to all the people who frequant the site and have very informative information for people.

Okay heres my problem:

Cruise doesnt work at all.....Everything else works just fine, nothing is losing any power or any lights on at all, So its just the Cruise with issues.

Start the Van, all the lights come on as normal routine YES even the cruise control light comes on and they all go off as the norm, Sort of like a post test on a computer i guess.

I get to speed i push power on button on the steering wheel and nothing, No light comes on no little sound of anything engaging.

So in short if there something i havent checked, meaning relay or something, i have checked the fuses and cant find anything burnt or broken to suggest power loss or anything.
I dont have the original manual and cant even check which fuses are related to the cruise control.

So heres what i need in the form of help:

1- What fuses are associated with the cruise control?
2- What should i check first?
3- IS there a vacum line associated with Cruise control, Or is that irrelevant due to the little blue light (cruise light)not comming on prior to anything anyways?

And in short any help would be appreciated...And thanks in advance.

Does your horn work and is the airbag light on? Possible bad clockspring.

Could be the stop light switch. slide under dash and look at the brake pedal, next to it is the stop light switch, if the foot on the switch is hanging up (had it happen on two cars) then the cruise thinks the brake is applied and no cruise. Try pulling and pushing the foot on the switch and see if it moves freely in and out. This is an easy and ineexpensive fix if the switch is bad.
