Wow, what a cadillac on wheels. I know one of the managers at the local Honda shop, so he let me take out the demo goldwing for a good hour today. I must say I was impressed. The amount of torque this thing had would make my R1 blush, I was driving around in second at low rpms and just gunning it would cause the back wheel to step out. Ofcourse the 12 page feature list was all so hypnotising as well, the comfort of this bike was incredible. Also, one of the things I was most impressed with, was the fact that sitting on the bike in the parking lot, not even moving I could pick both feet up off the ground and balance the bike easily for 5 seconds at a time before my body unbalanced the bike. I think I might have found my road trip bike... hrm

They sure are... big... and... neat looking. ;) Glad it was so much fun for ya. I'm still too gimpy to get on a bike at this point. :(

I didn't say I was too INCOMPETENT to know what a fun bike was, did I??? :right:
I'm just playing, but they sure are TANKS of bikes. No wonder those guys will ride in 40*F weather!!! The dang thing keeps the wind off of them!
