Not sure what you are asking but the cam is belt driven, it also drives the water pump.

but if the cam is belt driven do you know how many miles before it needs to be changed?

I believe Dodge recommends 100K in some states 105. You should also do the water pump. If the water pump fails and or the belt breaks the engine will bend the valves. They are also bad about cam seals I always put them in. I have seen them puke them out completely. I don't have a part number but Dodge used to make a part that bolted in front of them to keep them from doing that. Good luck, I think they are easy to work on I have three.
