The A/C on my "97 Cav does not blow cold air anymore. The system starts fine, but the small pipe - high pressure line gets cold, but the big pipe - low pressure side does nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Want to play percentages?? 65% of all GM a/c failures are loss of refrigerant charge due to a leak- the most common leak location on your V-5 compressor system is the compressor shaft seal and/or compressor body o-rings- both are fixable and replaceable-- if and only if you can find a shop that will fix them for you- that has the proper tools and know-how to do the job- The procedures are in the service manuals- but nearly no one wants to read it or use it or do it when they can sell you a new compressor- I do 2 or 3 re-seals a week- most shops will replace the compressor- which is the big bucks. The shop could actually make more money on the re-seals than a new compressor- but they don't see it that way...Good luck
