PCV Tube

I did a valve cover job on my 2000 V6 this weekend. In the process I broke a plastic vacuum tube right behind the intake. It runs from somewhere back there to the throttle body. It is noted in the service guide as the PCV tube but when I look for the part I can only find the tube that runs from the air outlet tube and then t's out to each of the valve covers. The tube has a part number but it is worn and I can't get any matches from fordparts.com. The part number appears to be KW4E-6K817AE. Anyone got any ideas on how i can get a replacement part?

I took a look at the hose on my wife's 2002 V6. The sticker on her tube is like new and clearly reads, "XW4E-6K817-AF M536K >PA6<."
I do a search on Fast Parts Network and don't find anything by that part number either. You may want to e-mail them with the part number and see if they can get it for you. Torrie is great about responding to e-mail and helping out where he can.
RockAuto may have it at this site (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1363621,parttype,11798), but the number doesn't match anything I find on the hose assembly.

it's different on the Gen1 LSes than the Gen2 (2003+).
Have no fear - the V8 does not have a PCV valve - these are simply tubes from the valve cover to the intake - so you can replace it (or 'fix' it) with just a piece of standard hose.

I wonder if you can hire an artist or plummer to make a copper tube for replacement!
Who's cheaper?
I would go for the original equipment from Ford, and Trade it in on a V8!
Hey!
That new Dodge Challenger is a good looking car & it has a HEMI.
