I was installing a GPS device in a 2000 Express. The unit ties into the ignition wire near the steering column and has a starter relay cut into the starter wire at the same location. Got it hooked up and the vehicle cranks and gets fire but as soon as I let off the starter, it dies. I've disconnectred the GPS unit and the propblem persists. :banghead:
I checked for codes with an OBD scanner but it returned no results.
What did I pull loose while messing with the ignition wiring harness?
Thanks in advance for any help offered.

HOLY CRAP!
I just noticed that the gauges were dead when I turned on the key. The gauge fuse was loose. I twisted it a bit and reinstalled it and vavoom! She starts like a champ.
Hopefully next time I'll have a real problem.
