I have a 03 grand caravan that makes a pop sound when you turn. Changed end links that were bad had bushings checked was told they were fine. Looked underneath while turning wheel found driver side coil spring jumping when hitting certian place while turning wheel. Read other post that has same problem result was strut mount was wondering how hard it is to change? Also should van be aligned when done? Is this a problem that could be dangerous I am leaving on a trip in 2 days?

I personally wouldn't drive it with that issue. It wouldn't be that hard to fix. Just get a new spring mount. You will have to remove the strut and then use a spring compressor to remove the spring. Then you can replace the spring seat and re compress the spring and bolt it back together.
At least that's how you do it on a LeBaron, I'm sure of the differences on a Minivan. You might want pick up a repair manual like a Haynes or Chiltons for it.
Also, you will have to get it realigned when you're done.
