I don't want to hijack this forum, but I put together a website that will allow us to better (IMHO) share information and I have created a forum section to use as a registry for these cars, as well as a dedicated Classifieds section.

Please take some time to check it out and post your thoughts, here or there. Still finalizing some of the format and content, but you'll get the basic idea.

Well I signed up Eric1h but there's a huge amount of info that is on this site already so you're facing an uphill battle... You better get to cutting-n-pasting if you want to accumulate it on your new site! :)

Thanks Devin, my only concern with a wide open google doc, is it would very easy for some web thug to go in and delete everything or destroy all the information it.

When you registered it should have sent you a confirmation email you had to click on a link to verify your email address.

I know, i know, and I am trying, if there is no desire or need then its jst as easy to take it down. It just seemed like we needed a more organized format.

I hope we can get some people over there to start accumalating some good information, if not, no big deal I tried. But if we make it a team effort, we could get more of the useful information moved over pretty quickly, I've already moved a lot, like the parts/source information.

But we can lock it down to only registered users. :naughty:

Hi Eric, I think it would be great to have a dedicated site for things like classifieds, etc. There is some good info on here that would need to be transposed.

I assume this means you will never sell your car? :icon16:

Oh, and Thank You.

The idea is to have sort of a grand central type site with resources (vendors, classifieds, tips/tricks, shared files, and even an official registry!). There may some other potential uses down the road.

So, FWIW, I think it really needs to have a welcoming/general type page. Learn more about the car, Panoz, etc. within the site, of course you get into technical details and the aforementioned items. Most importantly, there also links to useful "places", such as this forum, SCCA, NASA, v8motorsports, panoz and anywhere else. From what I have seen there are a lot of little things here and there and really no central repository and/or central spot with redirects/links to applicable information.

Here is a good question, what content does this community feel would be appropriate?

Eric:

Ill be glad to gather these details and we can chat later in the week?

SOunds like a plan, and that exactly the idea I had, one stop shopping for all the information you need on these cars.
