Axle Help - axle to intermediate shaft disconnect

I have a b series (93 B18A1) in my 4g4d. Anyway, my axle is popping and I can't get the axle out of the intermediate shaft. So far I've broken a few tools and still nothing. This axle just doesn't want to come out. Has anybody found and tricks other than using the jaws of life?

I've had this problem before. I just ended up getting a new half shaft. If you have access to a air chisel you could use that. That or take it all out, get a big pry bar and hammer it between the two and hope for the best.
