New England winters suck!!!!!!!! It's supposed to be mid 40's here tomorrow, I might just pull the GT out of the garage to let it breath for a little while. With all this damn snow, I'm going through withdrawals!

how do you take care of a car if you know you arent going to be driving it for a few months?

Me too HiFlow that's why I asked for someone to tell a kill story so I can live vicariously through them lol.
Grimmy I would either put it in a grage or a good car cover first.
Also I like to change all the fluids before, and a half talk of gas. The gas does sorta go bad just sitting put half a tank makes sure you don't get any freezing in the lines. Also I try to run my 10-15 minutes every few weeks. And drive it whenever I can just for 30 minutes or so to get everything moving, shocks like to freeze things like that.

I recently purchaced a 03 cobra svt..(supercharged 390 hp),was racing a 02 camero ss on the interstate and totally kicked his ass, unfortunatly as i was slowing down i was clocked by a highyway patrol officer at 120mph...ouch this ticket is going to hurt.:bloated:

I was gonna write this last night but too tired by the time I got home. So the weather was decent last yesterday. So I changed my oil and the rear-end fluid. And I finally brought my stang out. Me and my friend who drives a 94 Z28 went out to Worcester to the strip. I was so not going to do any racing. My friend on the highway there kept trying to egg me on but I didn't bite.
So we had be driving around the strip for like a couple hours working the bitches. When this kid gets behind me and keeps reving it. After about 10 minutes of this we get side by side at a light. I see it's a 3000GT and it says VR4 on the back. I never raced one before but like I said I wasn't up for racing. So the kid revs it and says "Your friend in the Camaro said your car is the fastest thing here". I was hoping to scare him out of racing so I said "Easily". The kid replies "We'll see". Well now I got no choice.
So I drop it into 1st and wait for the light. Light turn's green and I think I was maybe a fraction slower than him nothing noticable, tire spin as always but not too bad. Hit 6,500 in 1st bump it into 2nd, wheels break lose a little but no biggie use to it. Bring it 6,500 in 2nd, bump it into 3rd and let off the gas. He is about 2 cars back. We went about lil under half a 1/4 mile.

Damn there still racing in Worcester this time of year? That's great GTStang, awesome kill! Worcester is about a 30 minutes drive from here, I should check it out some time. OH, by the way, its going to be mid 60's here tomorrow! You know what that means?

They out in Worcestor all year as long as there isn't snow in the streets. I'm there every weekend basically come spring-summer

so i decided to check out the scene one last time in louisville last night.. hit up the hot spot around 12-1am last night (sat) and after checking out everything and watching the cops everywhere, and police helicopters haha i was layin pretty low... after figuring out how everything worked, i rolled up to the area many were parked and the cops weren't giving any trouble, MANY mustangs.
after a few minutes of checkin stuff out and hearing the normal bs everyone talks, i asked who was the fastest car there. its a pretty unanimous decision thats its this cobra. i talked to the owner later on he listed off all the crap he has done, i dont remember it all, and finally ask if he wants to race. he thought i had a 240sx and i was like nah, that maxima. he doesnt even bother to ask what im running, and shockingly says he will agree to race from a roll, no money. so we both ride out and pick up the interstate for two runs. first run i waited for him to go before i got on it, a mistake, esp. w/ turbo. second run around , we do the classic honk and both go at same time - this is the video i have. keep in mind they run stock what 12.9 @ 111mph ?
need windows media player, and if that doesnt work get the latest version from microsoft.com for free.

the info everyone wants to know: i am at ~10psi, mevi was turned OFF (my new gear ratios don't work well with my mevi setup presently, gettin it fixed), no muffler just 3" mandrel pipe out the back w/ highflow cat (new exhaust setup coming..).

well i lost to a honda today but the honda was a CBR929RR street bike, he beat me pretty good..lol
