wont start

my car has sat since memorial day without running and i tried to start it today and a couple of weeks ago and it wouldn't start. the engine is turning so the starter is working but when i put a little fuel in the carb it still didn't help. the in line fuel filter isn't full could this be why? it ran fine last time i ran it. any ideas?

If you pour gas in it or spray starting fluid in it and it still won't start, you have ignition problems.

how can i track that down?

go down to the store and get an inline spark checker, they have a light bulb that will (should) light up when the pulse goes through the spark plug wire. Start there so you can check if you are getting good spark.
