Piston Swap

Hi there;
I've got a 91 G10 with one buggered piston due to a floater that the previous owner left in there. Cylinder is good, no scoring.
I've got pistons from a 90 block that aside from some carbon seem to be OK - I'm going to re-ring the engine, new seals and rod bearings.
Can anyone think why it wouldn't be OK to use one of the 90 pistons in the 91 rebuild? Or should I swap all 3? The casting numbers on the rods are different, but the pistons look identical.
Anyone else done this before?
Thanks!

weigh them....if all 3 are about the same weight, & they're either all XFI or all NOT XFI, they should work
