PowerLock Relay...location??

I cannot fix my powerlocks what so ever. Can someone please tell me where the powerlock relay is on a 1997 cavalier??

I went to GM and a bunch of autoshops and no luck. No one has no idea and no diagrams on this. I have the manual and the haynes repair book and nothing in there either.

OR could it be a bad circuit breaker?? And If so, any ideas which one it could be?

I am also thinking that I just had my kick panels put in. After these were put in 4 days later the locks started acting up. Could this have something to do with it aswell?

Its all in your BCM.

Start tearing that shit off your door panel and get in there and have a look.

BCM?

I did take all the door panels off except the right rear door. I didn't think any wires would be in that panel. I checked all the switches and the plugs, nothing is loose.I fumbled with all the wires and still nothing.

The only thing GM said was that there was a wire harness in my trunk.I checked and there is nothing.
These are the only things I can think that could be causing thiis problem and I would like to go through each one to pinpoint it.

1.PowerLock Relay
2.Actuators
3.MIGHT be the keyless alarm(doubt it)
4.Bad Circuit Breaker

I will go have a look today at the right rear door.

pull the kick panel off ,down by your left foot. look for corrosion in the cluster behind panel

Okay, earlier today while I was driving I noticed that the new kick panel speakers I had installed started giving out. They were on and they they kept flickering on and off. Does this have anything to do with the power locks?? Because it's a kawinky-dink that all the sudden these aren't working either. I have not checked under the panel like Muff34 said.I was going to take it back down and tell the audio installers whats been going on. Give me your feedback please.

Thank you,
Christina

BCM = Body control module

But if it's clicking, its more so the actuator than anything.

If it was the actuator, would I have to change all of them or just on my side?
I mean it does click but only to lock.Unlocking feature does not work at all and it does not make a sound when I click the switch to unlock it.

And again, would my speaker pods have anything to do with this?

Just to let everyone know..I checked the driver&passenger side switches that hook up to the actuator. The blue connectors...and then I pressed the unlock button. The voltmeter reads it and they both are getting power but they don't unlock.

Dude, check your other thread. It's hard to get to the bottom of your problem if you run more than one thread. Like I said before, you don't have relays. The lock switches are reverse polarity. You need to check the power AND ground outputs of those switches. Maybe even take a 10 amp fuse to ground when pressing those switches to one of the wires out of the switch to see if it'll lock or not.
