I have a 99 Durango that I would like to install my video montors into the headrest of the seats but the seats are one unit. Can the monitors be installed in the seats? If someone can please help me with this that would be great. Thanks

It might be possible, but a little exploratory surgery may be worthwhile first to scope out the seat's innards.
You should be able to remove the cloth/leather seatback cover...zippers, hooks, or velcro are common. BUt it will be tight, so I'd suggest letting the truck sit in the sun to help make it more pliable...same is true when reinstalling it. Remove any cushioning from the back as well to get to the seat frame.
Find where you can attach the screens to the seat's frame. Ideally the screen frames should allow the viewer to adjust the viewing angle to accommodate for the seatback angle, viewer height, etc. Make up the brackets to hold the frames and pop rivet or bolt them in and attach the screens. Run the video and power wires down along the frame to the bottom and route them away from the seat tracks, motors, etc., and allow enough slack to accommodate the seat articulation.
The most harrowing part is cutting the hole in the cloth/leather cover...you get one shot! Remove the screen and trim ring, leaving the frame, warm up the cover and stretch it over the seat...all the way, not just the head part! If it doesn't sit right or cools off too fast, reheat it and adjust so that it is on correctly.
Mark about 1 inch rectangle inside the frame and cut it out. Then make 45- degree cuts at the corners, until you can get the screen and trim ring to fit, leaving no visible cuts at the corners.
Obviously, this is alot of work where a professional would be worth the money, but going slow & steady will result in a better result. Good luck!
