Car Auctions?

Hi, have any of you been to auctions for cars that were for the public? If so, can you please write about your experiences.

I'm considering going to auctions to bid on cars and am doing some research first of course.

4 months have passed since you posted your question, I really am curious as to what you found in your research during this time frame ? also if you did attend an auction what was your experience ?
