2004 Envoy intermittent electrical issues

I've put about 40k miles on this over the past 2.5 years, it's run great with only a couple small exceptions that were covered by warranty. All service has been done regularly, etc
The last few days or so, when we're out on the road and sometimes within about 10 seconds of a cold start, ALL of the lights on the dash, CD player, etc, etc ...anything that's lit up...goes off just for a second, the clock on the CD player resets (not every time...weird huh?).
Well today, my wife is driving home and it happens, but the speedometer sticks at 15MPH. She called me immediately, and I came back here immediately :) It's happened 3 more times on her short drive home, and the speedometer seems to have unstuck (for now).
I've also noticed the flicker issue others have talked about in other threads. Not sure if it's related at all, but the dash lights (and possibly my headlights) flicker...randomly I think.
Any advice? I started to look up TSBs and got lost quickly.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to AF. Make sure all the battery cables and grounds are clean and tight, check the one on the l/s of engine block also. Might check with your dealer if they have seen this as a common repair.

Of course - thanks for the quick reply, I'll check that out this morning and report back. Great forum!

Ok, terminals are clean and tight, the one ground I found is tight and cleaner now. Without many tools, I did what I could to try to follow the other wires from the battery (black side) to the engine block, but they go pretty deep, so I couldn't find the end of any of the 3 wires. Is there usually more than the one ground that I found?
I've got a few pics I just took of a wire I found that looks like it should be connected to something.. :) The owners manual pics aren't clear or detailed enough for me to verify either way, I thought one of you other Envoy owners or mechanics may know just by looking at my pics.
Here ya go, thanks :)

That wire is used only if you haul a trailer. Otherwise, it is supposed to be unconnected.

Was there ever a solution found? This sounds like exactly what has been happening to my 2003 envoy recently.
