Just wondering how to test for a faulty MAF. Right now it seems to hesitate and kinda buck under acceleration especially up hills. Sometimes it surges and sometimes it just stalls. If I got the cruise on the interstate it works beautifully. If I pull the plug on the MAF and drive how should the car act? Oh yeah the maf did throw a ses light.

If you unplug the maf and it runs good after the idle stabilizes, the MAF is the problem. Your symptoms sound just like mine. Dealership wanted 350.00 for a new MAF. You can get one from zzp for 125.00 or you can get a stage 1 throttle body from zzp for 250 with a new iac, tps, and MAF. Thats what I did. It should be fine to drive your car for a couple weeks while your parts ship if you do decide to order ffrom zzp.

Ok thanks for the help. I guess I'm probably gonna just replace the maf since money is tight and theres a few more problems that need addressing.
Thanks again
