I can't remember if my car was ever switched to R134a or not. Is there a way to tell? I'd like to measure my AC pressure but I have not been able to fidn an adapter that fits on the low side for me, which seems strange.

What year is your car? The adapter in the pic is for 134a.

1993 - but i have had many AC repairs over the years, some of which they tried to talk me into the conversion. My last repair was a new compressor 2 yrs ago and I can't recall if i "gave in" or not. Sounds like I did.

1993 was the last year for R12, so evidently you did "give in" and let someone do the conversion. You can purchase a 134a gage kit at any major auto parts store. BTW, the conversion was in your best interest. :)
