Which sensor engine or VCM sensor?
What is the problem or code?

Some should read 177 ohms at 212- F degrees and 3500 ohms at 68 F degrees.
The hotter they get the less OHM reading.

there are two sensors that measure Engine Temperature [ECT] would be the correct term used on your vehicle....one at thermostat and the other at forward drivers side of engine just below the valve cover...both should read the same resistance when cold .....measure both compare readings.. after engine gets to 195 deg F shut down engine and repeat ..if senders are measuring more than 10percent difference replace....should read like mt 2500 said 150-170 ohms at operating temp.and at 70degF around 3,500 ohms..if 20degf may go to 50,000 ohms...but since they are the same,,, they if good,, will be very close in resistance...
