Heya everybody. Havent posted in a while life's been hectic. Got a baby boy coming in a couple months! Anyways I picked up a 2000 gtp with 134k to have a nice paid off car with oil prices the way they are (. Car seems to run and drive pretty nicely. Here are the probs I ran into and any input or comments on these would be much appreciated.
1. Under heavy acceleration car bucks and hesitates. It also stalled a few times when coming to a stop. Seems to have a hard time sometimes finding the idle point. I'm thinking the maf is going plus I got a SES light on. One time I made it buck pretty good and the SES started blinking so I am hoping that light is the solution to my problem.
2. When turning to the right and accelerating I notice a slight grindy type noise with some vibration. If I turn sharply right and mash the gas its a pretty bad sound.
3. The HUD is blank moving dimmer and the up/down does nothing.
4. The passenger rear window wont move. Nothing happens when I hit the door switch or the driver swith. The other 3 work fine.
5. Power steering making noise next day. Got a leak somewhere I believe. Dont see any on ground but can smell it heating up in engine bay.
Well thats about it for now. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The blinking SES light indicates a misfire condition. I would diagnose this first due to the fact it could destroy your cat converter.
You can take it to advance or autozone and have them pull the codes. They do it for free, but dont listen to them when they give you the explanation of the code and try and sell you a part. Just get the number and post it, we will help you. P030x will be a missfire code and the X will be the cylinder thats missfiring.
Sounds like a bad motor or the window. Sometimes a good hard door slam will free up the brushes and make the motor work again.
On to the HUD, check all the fuses, and check the tips an maintenance sub-forum, I think Bob had a procedure posted that corrected the HUD dimming issue. Basically it was due to weak solder joints on the circuit board.
No ideas about the power steering leak or the noise when turning....

A growling noise is classically a low level on the power steering reservoir. Good news is if you fill it back up there is no permanent damage. If you wait too long and the pump runs without oil for long enough.....usually it doesn't kill the pump outright but you will have the growling forevermore.
Be wary of power steering leaks....the oil under medium pressure can atomize quickly and hot hydraulic oil (ps fluid plus also trans fluid) gets flammable quickly when in contact with hot manifolds. Ironically more flammable than gasoline IMHO as the gasoline simply flashes into vapor and needs some sort of an ignition source before it will flame. Engine oil weepage on the other hand tends to smoke but rarely propagate past that. An exception would be a conrod thrown thru the side of the engine block

See link below for HUD fix. No guarantee it will work but worth a try.

Ok first of all thanks everyone for the responses they are much appreciated. Got my SES light code cleared it was the MAF. Bought a can of that crc maf cleaner. I figure if it makes an improvement even briefly I can just go ahead and replace the maf.
The grinding noise when turning right and accelerating is disturbing me heh. I'm guessing its a cv or an axle. Might have to get that one looked at by a pro.
The power steering leak I have no idea about yet. Its a mess over there by the cap. I dont know if its getting thrown out or the nitwit at the dealer spilled it all over.
Thanks again everyone
