99 Gtp Intermitent Problem

i'VE GOT A 99 GTP, IT'S HAD A PROBLEM LIKE IT IS RUNNING OUT OF GAS FOR A LONG TIME. I'VE CHANGED THE FUEL PUMP,FUEL FILTER AND ALL THE FUSES. IT ONLY DOES IT EVERY NOW AND THEN, BUT IT'S AGGRAVATING BECASUE IT RUNS GREAT BETWEEN SPELLS.I'VE GOTTEN A LOW MAF INPUTT CODE(P0102) BUT I CLEARED IT A WEEK AGO AND IT HASN'T COME BACK ON. HELP!!!!!! IT'S ABOUT TO DRIVE ME BANANA'S.

If it hunts for an idle, and stumbles on accelleration, your MAF sensor is probably going bad and it will only get worse.

I agree with Rich, the DTC even indicates the failing MAF. Next time it acts up, turn the car off, unplug the MAF, then run it and see if it runs better.

cOOL, i APPRECIATE THE HELP. iT ACTUALLY DOESN'T IDLE BAD, WHEN IT ACTS UP IT BOGS AND DIES. I UNPLUGGED THE MAF LAST NIGHT AND STARTED IT AND IT RAN THE SAME(OK) FOR A COUPLE MINUTES SO i GUESS I"LL REPLACE THE MAF. THANKS FOR THE HELP AND I'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK ON THEIS SITE.
