Good Morning,
I have a 2000 Venture that has me baffled. A couple of months ago, the a/c started acting up on me. First, the rear air was not blowing cold, would blow warm air when being controlled from the front, but no air at all when being controlled from the back. I found that the rear control module had gone bad. I replaced it and the rear air now blows cold. Now the front air is giving me problems. The passenger two vents blows somewhat cool, (not cold), and the driver two vents, including the middle vent, blows warm air. I noticed that I get plenty of moisture dripping from the back when the air is running, but none in the front. (not a single drop of water) Anyone have ideas, or have this problem before? We live in Jacksonville, FL and the heat is unbearable somedays, so getting the a/c fixed would be great!:)
Thanks in advance.

What you describe is very typical of a system that has lost about half its refrigerant charge-- you probably have a leak-- V5 compressor belly and/or shaft seal is highly suspect- heck I just rebuilt the same compressor last night off a '99 Silhouette (same vehicle) for leaky seals between the heads and cylinder- system would not cool front and rear because it had only 10 ounces in it- now works great
