I want to bring my 1992 transporter double cab pickup back to the states with me. I have been told if the same engine is in a car in the states it really expedites or allows the process to take place. If anyone has any other helpful tips on importing a car let me know.
Thanks
Amos

I imported my 1993 diesel Transporter into California and it was really no big deal. You have to use a registered importer and the only model years you can bring in are 1993 and 1994. I used a company called P.N.T. registered importers located in B.C. Canada. The man I worked with is named Randall Reid and his number is (250)862-8665. He is very knowledgable and helpful.
He will run your VIN and see if the import is possible.
Good luck to you and please contact me if you need any additional help on this. Jeff
