I was wondering how many miles everyone has on thier Intrigue, what major issues have you had, and if you would buy another one? I have 1999 Intrigue with 245,000 miles and I really cant complain about the repairs, I plan on buying a used one when this ones dies.

Ive got a 99 with 73,500 miles (really low... I know) So far Ive had to replace the crank sensor, the cam sensor (twice) and got the alternator fixed. For the most part its been pretty good.

:smokin: I drive a 2000 gx with 98k and its been fair no major problems just normal wear and tear.
I changed one coil pack which is 3 in 1 used on back at 90k, camshaft pos sensor, O2's oxygen sensors at 87k, resonator 83k, thermostat w housing fresh coolant 89k, driveaxles transfilter fluid 94k, steering gear kit and grease it will happen, both hub bearings in front the front right 2 times. Champion sparkplugs 90k hate them need ngk IR IX I think thier best. And brake's all around 79k to 98k its normal could of upgraded the front just brackets and rotors.
Would i buy one again maybe not unless its a 3.8 gls for cheap. But now I want a car with a firmer suspension and german build quality luxury or sporty acura's and honda.

I have about 61,500 on my 02 Intrigue. So far the only things I have replaced have been the ignition switch and the crankshaft position sensor.

i have a 98 with 82000 miles. i am on my second motor. both engines developed rod knocks.:banghead: and the normal intake manifold problem that these engines have and the mass air flow, the crank sensors were also replaced. i am too far into this car. i will never get my money out of it. this car has cost me a small fortune obviously.

Ive got 159,000ish on mine.
Ive had to replace a few things, nothing major, ive done a master cylinder, a wheel bearing or two, had some ignition switch issues. Ive chosen to replace a lot more things though, either way, it hasnt broke me yet.
Would I buy one again? Im not a humongous fan of the 3.5, although I have found it to be quite reliable. In general I like the 3.8 better. But for me personally, I like American cars, mostly because I always get used cars, and American cars have the poorest resale value, which is great when all you do is buy. But Im also pretty easy to please, so for me to pay several thousand more for a Honda or Nissan of similar specs to my car and get basically the same performance, mileage, etc, is just a waste of money to me. Youre going to have to maintain and keep putting money into any car you drive, thats just the way it is.

2000 GX with 92,150. No major problems, except for some really funky electrical issues which have cropped up recently (doors unlock but won't lock, headlights sometimes come on during the day, right rear window sometimes quits working, electricity fluctuates...).
I'd buy another one if the price was right. But I don't think it would be the first model I'd look for if I was looking for another car.

2000 GL, 120 k ish. No real problems. Something broke with the Power moonroof still opens but not quite right, replaced climate control outside temp sensor, CKP sensor, Spark plugs, Brakes and other regular maintenance items. Wheel bearings done before I bought it. Alternator & battery before i bought it. A/C compressor clutch starting to squeal a little but it is an 8 year old car.
Overall I'm happy with it.
