97 intrepid timing belt

I'm in the process of changing a head gasket on a 3.5L Dodge Intrepid. When I got to the timing belt, I couldn't get all three timing marks to line up (crank and cams). I lined up the TDC mark on the crank and pulled the belt, but the cams are off about 3-5 degrees. Should I time them back up before replacing the belt, or should I just leave it as it was when I took it apart?

Someone has obviously been in here recently, since all the gaskets are new and the bolts are practically falling out. My guess is that he took off the cam gears and didn't have the tool to put them back on properly (they don't have a woodruff key).

Woodruff keys are cheap. Buy one for 63 cents and do it right. Then line up the marks

What I mean is that there aren't keys that hold the gears in a single position. According to the service manual (I haven't pulled the gears off and looked yet), they have "D" shaped slot that allows for some adjustment.
