New Computer/ECU/PCM

It seems like I may need a new computer. I have spark and I have fuel pressure. Cranks over but no start.

I have searched and only have become more confused - lots of different terminology.

Is the brain that controls the fuel injection in my 1995 Bonneville the shiny box on the inside firewall under the glove box? The junk yard sells the ECM for $25 - is that the same thing as the PCM?

What year are you referring to? Have you had it scanned for codes? Find out what codes are set and start there.

Check the wiring of your sill plate by your drivers seat, take the carpet off right by the door and there should be a black wire cover, make sure that the wires are not corroded. That wire harness had a short and took out my pcm. Just got it fixed. Look for my thread that is newer, but yet old. It has been resolved. My wires just had to be resoded with a new pcm.
