03 Santa Fe is jerking, Help?

This started last evening when my husband was on his way to work. It is jerking every 20-30 seconds and the tach drops but then it picks back up again only to do it again... Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

I am going to call the Dealership Service Dept and see what they suggest and how soon we can get it in to be fixed...

My 2004 did the same thing, I found the coils were arcing across to ground and that it had Champion platinum plus in it. I put new wires, new NGK Irinum plugs in it, and replaced the 3 coils and it run better than it did brand new.

I have 05 with the same problem, mine was the tranny.
