1971 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 biscione with Porsche brakes front and rear

As the title says.There are a few different types of Giulias.I am strangely attracted to the 4 door sedans.

Hey John, have you ever seen Nissan Skylines from the 70's ?
I will try to find a pic here on AF.. I remember it was posted here some time ago.
This Giulia looks very similar to the Skyline of that era.

More impressive is how the first Datsun Silvia is a dead ringer for a Lancia Fulvia.

I'd say the 1964 Bluebird more closely resembles the Giulia sedan

I also own a Giulia here in Amsterdam The Netherlands.

It's a '76 Giulia Super Nouva cup-racer.

Momentaraly it's in restoration. Body off.
I had the engine replaced by a 2.0 liter Giulietta engine.

I had it tuned by a Dutch Maserati/ Ferrari/ Alfa dealer.
His father used to tune Giulia's for cup-racing so he has enough knowledge and skills.

He estimates the engine at 180 bhp.

That's something different than the standard 70 bhp engine. :D
It looks something like this only mine is light yellow (original colour), has yellow headlights, has original Chromodoro sportwheels (standard option but rare these days) and is lowerd a couple of inches.
Al these are track-racers. I have mine for on the road but is equal to these cup-racers.

very quick car for his era. In that era they raced with the alfa gt junior.
but many years later they found out that the aerodynamics of the guila was in fact a lot better.

this was the first alfa romeo my family has driven in '78 it was a super nuova 1600 with 103 bhp.
This is still the same with the basic 147 1.6 twin spark. but this is a much heavier car.
