if the sport light is blinking then it indicates a problem that the tcm senses it could either be caused by the speedometer not working or a shift sylinoid is no good which in this case every gear 1-4 has one and they are located on the front of the trans and look like cylinders kinda like a c battery to diagnose the prob you would have to download the fsm for your accord but if i remember right the pigtail is located on the passenger side kick panel the kick panel would have to be removed though and its a blue pigtail and jump it with a piece of wire then if the s light starts blinking take it down it will indicate a trouble code but if the s light remains on then you might have the switch still on try turning the s light off there should be a switch on the side of the gear shift where you shift with your hand its kinda like turning off overdrive it will not shift to fourth if the s light is on maybe thats your prob

Should be your TCM - Tranmission Control Module.

tyflesh,

Did you ever figure out what was wrong with your Honda. My car is doing the exact same thing as you describe. Did you ever get it fixed? Was it the TCU? Any help would be appreciated!
