the paint is testors true blue and i added automotive blue pearl powder to the clear it looks alot better outside

I love the Evo. Run, Nice So Far, but my only qusetion is....Is it really "nearly finished" It looks like you still need to do some things.

On the topic of Testors paints, can you describe more on how you painted the body? Did you have orange peel effect and stuff from the Testors paint and how is pearl powder used? I'm kinda scared to use any Testors sprays now after reading so many horror stories but it looks like ur EVO turned out pretty good. Thx.

the paint is testors true blue mixed with mineral turps around 40-50% and airbrushed with aztek airbrush.let dry for 2 weeks then i used Tamiya x-22 acryl and added some automotive pearl to the clear to get the right haze and sprayed on. no orange peel. teh kit will now be a bit longer than i thought as i sprayed the interior with testors and metho what a great combination f*^%$# the interior it just went crazzy bugger have to clean and spray again.

That looks good! The blue with the silver writing goes so well. Mine is done in the red and white as per the box art. I'm tempted to do it in blue like yours now.
BTW, what are the decals like to put on?

the decals are not fun just alot of care and patiance and i liked the blue as i also have the evo6 rallyart to do should be finished in a couple of days
