What is a good AC spark plug to use in my 2000 4.8? The originals are in there for 100K.
I was thinking of iridium, but they are more expensive than the stock ones. Is there a advantage over the stock ones?
I don't do any towing and i was hoping for some better gas mileage.
Thanks

Most later GM use AC-Delco platinum/iridum spark plugs.
Check you manf specs and the lastest ac-delco spark plug book.
Yes they are expensive but remember they will last a 100k.
A little to long to run them but.
Just changed plugs in a 01 4.3 V6 s-10 with 152K origional plugs and still going strong outside of fuel pump.

funny;
The only thing I've done to my 2002 4.8 is fuel pump :|
Spark plugs will happen within the month..
