I have found a couple of threads on here in a search but no resolution for any of them. This is the second time it has happened. Run it for a while, let it sit for 10 minutes, come back out and it wont start, turns over fine and catches a little but dies. If it catches it runs rough and dies. Let it sit for a couple hours and it started fine and has run fine for weeks. Now it happened again and it wont start. I let it sit for 45 minutes, it start and I hit the gas it was running smooth, hopped out of th truck and it died. Now it wont start again.

Anyone have this happen and come to resolution? No engine codes at all. The theft left goes out as it should. When I got it started the last time I noticed the check engine was NOT on so its not throwing a code.

Any ideas?

Use an ohm meter and check the camshaft position sensor it should go from zero to one when cranking. Some people carry a spare with them. The crankshaft position sensor will also cause a no start. You could check it the same way. Just be careful around the belt.
