97 PA A/C problem/noise?

I have a 1997 Buick park ave and it runs perfect a 150,000 miles, but recently in the past 3 months I have been having a problem with the a/c system. The a/c will only run on the passanger side and the drivers side blows hot air (sometimes is switches from hot to cold, hot to cold etc..) And I also hear a noice coming from the center of the dash like the sound of a stomach rumbling. Anyone with some insight please help. Thanks

I have the same clicking noise in the rear passenger side pannel and the air works but the noise is driving me crazy... I also pulled the white wire clip and it stopped clicking and the air still works.
