mounting neons

i added some neons to my car, not really that much for looks but more so i can learn and do better next time (there are still a couple wires showing). I hooked up two under the dash, and two under the front seats so there's light in the back seat foot area. they all have their own switches. my question is, how do you all mount your neons? for underneath the front seat, i just attached velcro. no one can see the velcro, and even though it's not recommended for carpeted use, no one is gonna move the neons, or even touch them. however, when i get out of my car, i sometimes knock the neon under the dash off, because it's under the dash. This one is also hooked up to velcro and the adhesive is already starting to wear off. i was thinking that i should glue the velcro to under the dash, so i can still remove the light if i need to. do any of you have any suggestions? what methods have you used for mounting neons? haha, this is kinda long once i read it over, but thanks to anyone that replies!!!

get something NON-PERMANENT. i used zip ties. they don't leave any permanent holes, and they are easy to remove, unlike hardened or sticky glue. they will hold like none other and you can cut off the excess amount, so everything looks clean, and is easily removable for various purposes, like selling the car. if you need more length. either get long ones or just attach em together. you can buy em at any hardware store, and they come in black and white, and sometimes even more colors.

I know this is like basic physics but, i have an underbody neon kit that i need to install and the only part i don't get is how to connect it to the battery. I also have 2 sets of 2 9" tubes coming, should i buy a 4-in-1 cigarette adapter, or should or can i connect these to the car itself? I saw one guy who had i think a total of 4 neons in his car and they all turned on when the dome light turned on. He also had a kill switch so that they wouldn't come on if he didn't want them to. Anyone know how i can get this done?
