Nissan Pickup Ignition Switch

I'm trying to replace a bad switch. First I don't know how to get the old switch off. The bolt heads are round and smooth...don't know how to grip them. Also, I hooked up the new switch and it starts and I can get it into gear but the wheel won't unlock. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thankyou!
