Inside door release handle

The inside door release handle on my '92 Metro has broken. Apparently, this is a common occurence, as every Metro in the 3 junkyards I searched at have had the handles robbed. Has anyone looked into anything else close enough to possibly fit the Metro with little or no modifications? Perhaps a later year Metro or another Geo car - Storm, Tracker, Prizm??

I just replaced mine on both sides. Buy the new aftermarket ones on ebay. These are quality new parts. The ones in the junk yard have been sitting in the heat for 15 years and normally don't last long.
