Can anyone give me the possible component failure based on the tire play?
If the tire has play in it at 9-3 what are the possible problems and how would you test further?
Thanks.

Could be a bad wheelhub/bearing Here's a link that should help... http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=908982&highlight=bearing The link takes you to a post about checking the tire at 9-3 and 12-6 for any play. Hope it helps

Which car listed in your signature are you having problems with? And why are you running similar posts in two different forums? See link below.

could be wheel bearing, most likely tie-rod/tie-rod end. (inner or outer)
Take it to an alignment shop, they won't align it, they'll tell you what needs to be replaced.
Just tell them you want it aligned, and that they need to get confirmation to replace/repair anything necessary... that way, if they do it anyway, without your confirmation, it's free... b/c they broke the law.

Both..the GP has just started to develop the same bounce in it. The buick has had this issue since I bought it with 108k but is much more pronounced.
Suspension work is pretty much the same in both vehicles. Are they not?
Thanks.

Both vehicles? :sly:
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on this one, otherwise one of the threads would be closed. However, in the future don't ever B.S. me.
