Foggy headlights

Just a simple fix for those foggy composite headlights. I had painted the roof of my car and was using rubbing compound on it and decided to try it on my headlights. Worked great. Only took about 3 or 4 minutes each. Been trying to make my car look a little more presentable lately. While I'm here does anyone know a good way to remove the glue from the pinstripes that I have peeled off. I have tried goof off, paint thinner, bug and tar remover, and laquer thinner. The laquer thinner worked the best but would break the glue down only temporarily and then it would start to smear. Just use a heat gun. How did you get the pinstripes off in the first place. Use a heat gun and if possible a razor blade. If you are very careful you can scrape just the glue and not hurt the paint. If you are re painting then it really won't matter.

I've known quite a few people to use lighter fluid to take decals off of their cars.

wow good job on the roof! Ya I'd try anything I knew wouldn't hurt the paint to get the vinyl off
