Any Panoz drivers at Road Atl July 19/20???

Hey Guys, I just recently purchased a GTRA school car and was wondering if there were going to be any Panoz drivers at the upcoming race at RA. I will not be participating as I have not secured my competition license yet, but was interested in meeting some other drivers.

But I'd love to see some of our cars in action! Maybe pick up some pointers and set some goals. Do you know when/if you will be going?

I will be there all weekend. I am actually planning to have my car there for a yearly inspection and to obtain my log book. Just no competing.

Ha! I'd love to be, but my lack of competition license is currently prohibiting that! I just bought my Panoz last month and I am anticipating taking the double school for SCCA at Roebling Road in February.

What is a "double school"?

If you do not take a professional driving school, SCCA requires you to take two of their race schools. At times, they have a "double school" which is basically just two schools combined into one weekend, allowing you to get credit for both at one time. Seems most practical and least expensive to me.

Someone told me that I can use the one school event and my existing track experience and get a license with NASA. I was moving in that direction when I hit the wall at NPR a few months ago. That kind of slowed things down for a bit. Anyhow, the event sounds like fun and nailing down the required schools at the same time seems like a win-win.

If you are close to getting your NASA license, you are now able to use it in SCCA events. They added NASA licenses to the list of accepted associations they will allow to compete.

Lost my post! Anyway- first post should have been, is there anyone to add us (2) to their crew list? Be glad to contribute towards fees as well of course.

None of our folks iwll be driving, but we plan to be there none the less. Would love introduce ourselves, live and in person. In any case, is there anyone going that has space and are willing to add us to their crew list? I would rather do that than the general admission, if at all possible. If so, drop me a line. Thanks!

I'm looking at the schedule for Saturday and Sunday but I don't know what group the Panoz's will run in. Is it group 6, or group 9?
