ive had the car for 2 years now and a lot of the electronics dont work
here is a list of things that dont work
the only gage that works is the tach
interior lights
odomitor
the heater stays at 75
sometimes you have to put in 1st for it to shift into gear
doorbell always rings (so it took it out)
mirror controls
all of these problems i could live with but just recently a new problem started
2 times it shut of on me when i was slowing down and it would not start. then i pushed in the brake and it started right up. it did the same thing the second time. 2 other times i tried to start it and the brake thing didnt work so i moved the shifter around and it started (the brake and shifter thing are probobly just a coincodence but i thought id add it anyways)
please help, im scared to drive it anywere

I suspect your dashboard problems are associated with a bad ground to the instrument cluster and/or bad fuses. Sometimes fuses can look good but be bad; it's best to use a tester on them to see if they are conducting power.
As for the second problem, when the engine 'does not start' does the starter motor spin the engine over, OR do you get nothing at all when you turn the key?

i read in a few websites that there is a little chip that goes bad in the 90-92 toronados intrument cluster. so i sent it in to get it fixed. i also read that if you leave this problem to long it will start wrecking other stuff in the cluster which i hope fixes the dying problem. ill find out when i get the part back on friday
for the starting problem. when i turn the key the engine turns over but doesnt fire, like its not getting a spark
